Died peacefully at his home in Switzerland, aged 97 years, surrounded by his family.
Dearly loved husband of the late Jean Towle, Father of Jane and Andrew, Father-in-law of Ken and Fiona, Grandfather (Danda) of Kate, Chris, Beccy, Ollie and Abbie, Great Grandfather of Frankie, Isabella, Laurence and Millie.
The founder of M6 Papers Ltd, Macclesfield, Don was also a keen cricketer and involved in several local cricket clubs including Macclesfield, Prestbury, Chelford, Over Alderley and Birtles. With an exceptional tenor voice he performed the lead role in a number of musicals performed by the East Cheshire Operatic Society at the Rex Theatre in Wilmslow. He spent many years working and living in the area.
He is missed every day.
A memorial service will be held at St Peter's Church Prestbury on Saturday 1st November at 1pm.
